Billy Heck Rifle added to Wilderness Road Blockhouse Interpretative Center Exhibits

The Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail Association commissioned Billy Heck, master rifle builder and member of the Contemporary Longrifle Association, to build a traditional frontier longrifle to be on exhibit in the Wilderness Road Blockhouse Interpretative Center. Billy presented the rifle to the Association at the Annual Meeting in March.

Billy Heck is Chief Historical Interpreter at Wilderness Road State Park and portrays Capt. Joseph Martin at Martin’ Station.
